Many people enter this industry of Network Marketing, and find themselves out of it within a year or less. Why does this happen?

There can be many reasons for giving up on MLM, but we have found that there are three major reasons that people initially never reach Network Marketing Success in their career.

Are you there now? Are you ready to throw in the towel because you have gotten discouraged and frustrated and MLM is simply not working for you?

Dont you dare quit!

You need to read these next three things and see if they might be what is stopping you.

What are the three things that stop most Network Marketing Success?

1) Wrong expectations.

There are many expectations you can have for your Network Marketing business, but there are also the WRONG expecations as well.

Wrong expectations usually include expecting:

Everyone is going to be interested.
It is going to be easy to succeed in MLM.
You don’t have to be consistent in activity.
You don’t need to learn the basics of this business.
The first month will explode. (It rarely does.)
You can recruit a few folks and they will make you rich.
You will never get frustrated or discouraged.
You will never feel like giving up.
Your friends will not be interested.
You need to start in the cold market.

Create expectations of faith, and belief. But deal in what truly is possible the first 90 days for you.

2) A Slow Start.

You MUST get off to a fast start in Network Marketing Success, because this will be the start of creating a habit of quick actions and focus. A slower start is going to prove harder to get through the No’s and the usual learning curve of Network Marketing. Start making phone calls NOW. Make your list of names NOW. Go see your family and friends NOW. Make more appointments NOW. NOW creates the speed you need!

When you work this business fast, you find that you exude more energy, more motivation, more magnestism, and more excitement. This alone attracts people towards you, and you literally display a Presence of Network Marketing Success which people will find attractive and reassuring. Don’t worry if you have been working slow. Ramp it up! And quicken the pace of your actions.

3) Trying to Reinvent the Wheel.

Your company has a proven path to Network Marketing Success, and you need to walk that path, step by step. You need to use the tools your company provides, use the trainings they provide, use the online tools they provide, and any other business building resource they offer.

Simple. Duplication.

If you are new to MLM, you need to understand that there is a certain experience in the industry that has proven to create Success. Do not try and start doing your own trainings, or your own way to Success. Once you have experienced Success, and want to get creative, then do it. But wait until you have created some Success in your business, and have learned some things about Network Marketing.

Oh…your organization will appreciate it as well. You using the company trainings and tools, will only help your downline grow faster, then your team using tools that have been unproven and possibly may slow growth.

Network Marketing Success really is simple, and can be easy. Make sure that you create the right expectations, and understand that there is a learning curve for most people. Make sure you get off to a fast start, start doing the business NOW. And use the tools that have proven to work, not ones that have yet to be tested.

Christine Mulwa, owner of a network marketing business

In 2004, Christine Mulwa took a Sh30, 000 loan and started a supplies and printing business. 

She rented a shop and bought stationery worth Sh6, 700 and set off.

“I searched for tenders to supply stationery and printing services while offering typesetting and printing services from my shop. I would have wished for (more), but I didn’t have the capacity to get big supply tenders.”

Nevertheless, she hoped that her supply business would be the fuel to her first million.....
. Little did she know that nearly a decade later, she would be almost as far from making her first million as she had been when she started out.

While she hoped to make her first million in the business, bank loans, operating capital and delayed payments would be major hurdles. The business appeared profitable on the surface but it carried many liabilities that ate into its profits.

“I would see a huge turnover that disappeared into liabilities. It was disappointing,” Christine says. “Sometimes I would supply only for my clients to say they’d pay in 90 days, yet I had more tenders to meet and loans to service.”

In a good month, Christine would make between Sh50, 000 and Sh100, 000. In a bad month, her profits would dip to Sh20, 000.

While she had the option of looking for employment and depending on the safety of a monthly salary, Christine was determined to remain her own boss.

“Although I am a certified computer programmer, the thought of looking for an IT programming job did not cross my mind. I wanted the freedom to chart my own business and financial path.”

NO LIABILITIES

Towards the end of 2010, the mother of two began to contemplate closing her supplies and printing shop and venture into a new business. “The business had been struggling to break even; I had to accept it wasn’t going to make me a millionaire and move on to something new,” she says.

In January 2011, she decided to jump ship and start a network marketing business. “It was not easy to recommend and convince consumers to buy goods directly from the company I was working with. But I managed to build a small circle and by the end of the month, I was paid Sh21, 000,” she says.

“Whenever consumers followed my recommendation and bought consumable products from the company, I’d earn a percentage in the five to 43 per cent range.”

The following month, she made Sh32, 000. In the third month, her income climbed to Sh46, 000. Soon, she began to earn between Sh82, 000 and Sh150, 000 per month. “I sometimes doubted my income. In my previous business, I had never made such money with no liabilities to offset,” she says.

Four months after starting her new business, Christine shut down her supplies and printing business. “The two could neither compare nor work side by side. I had no doubt that network marketing would be my takeoff and felt convinced that the supplies business was a monkey I needed to get off my back.”

Eighteen months after venturing into network marketing, she made her first million. However, crossing the one-million mark was not a walk in the park. “It took a gigantic effort to get the Sh1 million. My business had grown into Uganda and South Sudan in 2013 and I had established small shopping circles in United Kingdom. This was my biggest break and the coupon that made me a millionaire.”

Currently, Christine has a marketing network in seven countries. So far her biggest challenge has been convincing consumers to take on her products.

“I’ve found that money doesn’t really sleep and I have to constantly keep marketing my business and bringing in new consumers even as I maintain the already existing ones.”

To keep her high income running, Christine says that she researches and offers what consumers need. “A business that doesn’t meet and fulfill a need is as good as dead. I must offer what is needed in the market if I want to keep rising.”

In her journey to making her first million, Christine says she learned to never lose focus of her goal.

“I wanted to make my own million. And although my businesses changed, my goal remained the same.” She adds that many other women fail in their attempts to becoming millionaires due to their own poverty mentality.

“Many of us are driven by the ‘What if I fail?” fear factor! We hardly stop to take a look at the other side and ask ourselves,

‘What if I succeed? What do I need to do to succeed?”

Well, things have really changed since then and I want to share with you my story of how I went from a life of slavery in a Graphics Designing Job to now spending more time doing what i love in life with my loved ones, working less 3-5 hours a day with nothing but my laptop making my fortunes online!

I’m a 28 year old guy from Kenya who wanted more from life! I wasn’t cut out for being a slave my entire life!

When i was still under age, i always wanted and admired good and successful life, i always wanted to travel, I had seen pictures of all these amazing places, I had a fond taste of all these tropical locations like Kenya Highlands and game parks, South Africa, The Bahamas,Dubai etc. I could picture myself in these places, chilling on the beaches of the world living the good life!

After High School at the age of 19!..

I had no idea what I was going to do but wanted to travel, live good life and earn good money!

It then came into my mind that I could take Graphics Designing job as my carrier, since i had no any other choice/option.

I thought i could earn at least good money since i was just a fresh graduate from college by then,

…Friend, was I wrong!

From that time I got my JOB I started a journey of nearly 4 years of slavery (2011-2014), lost  contact with my Family and Friends I worked my ass off, working from Monday to Monday,daily for 10+ hours! I spent all the money I was earning (around Ksh 20,000/month) going out getting wasted, coz when i did so I could forget the time on the computer.

I HATED MY JOB (Journey Of Broke/Just Over Broke) LIFE.

It was definitely not what I expected it to be! I knew this wasn’t the way I wanted to live my life! It really sunk in one night then after coming to my senses, i started looking for something else to do in life.

I realized in THAT ONE MOMENT, the direction my life was heading!

Immediately I set out on a mission to change my life, I didn’t know exactly what I was going to do, but I knew what I didn’t want to do and that was enough for me!

On 16th 10-2014 I resigned from Job-i fired my boss.

The day after, I looked online for “Ways to make money online”

I knew then that pursuing how to make money on the internet was going to be the next chapter of my life, yes I was nervous but I came across people in Nairobi who were doing it, so if they were doing it, I knew I could! So I booked for an appointment, attended my first training, paid the enrollment fee and began learning and working just by copy pasting what others were doing.

My journey in online marketing has not been too smooth, I have faced a lot of Rejection, received a lot of abuse and betrayal from close friends and relatives.

“My advice to young people is this, to be proactive and develop less negativity, to put their view in a nice way, develop skills, have patience, persist more and Focus.”

It all changed for me once I found a paying system and a mentor.

Someone that had what I wanted! Finding a mentor is key for success if you want to make money on the internet!

Finding a mentor and having the right business system has allowed me to achieve some incredible things at my age! Like I said am making fortunes online,
